Nearness

The Afterimages have manifested in the form of paintings. So vivid yet blurry. Momentary and dimmed. Contemporary blur-check. Mixed ideologies and combinations of different perspectives. As a result, the spectator becomes considerably more conscious of their vision and what is sharp around the frame.

“(...) it also becomes clearer with every passing day that “distance” is only a psychic and ideological construct designed to protect me from the nearness of things.“

Timothy Morton Hyperobjects

L————nes

Reality is reduced to colors and lines. They have no significance in and of themselves; their meaning derives from and through the materiality of painting. They take up the role as creators in their realms, attempting to record the story using a logical alphabet. The lines focus on what is missing rather than what is present. About the emptiness's weight and the lightness it possesses. An ambiguity within the painting itself.

Not Set  in Stone

Capture temporal and spatial structures from outside the frame with expressive painterly gestures. Because everything appears to be in
a constant state of transformation, I only offer a a single frame of the entire choreography.
