Kamila Sipika

Visual artist based in The Netherlands (with Polish, Brazilian roots) with main focus on paintings on raw cotton and linen. Kamila works with topics such as ephemerality, decay, seduction and manipulation of images, and she drives her inspirations from nature. Her work engages the audience to investigate the relationship between the painting medium and nature; how it is affected and responds to its surroundings in themes, materials and forms.

Additionally, she works as an assistant at creative events, engaging communities into art practices and organises art workshops for kids. She is interested in experimenting with and establishing new painting approaches that combine nature, digital mediums, and tradition.
